Egg Deliveries

WE will be the first to tell you: it's not really about the eggs.

We deliver eggs on a subscription basis to your home, and you give a donation. That is how our nonprofit began, and that is the simple, main work we do in the U.S. All of your egg donations go to our work in Wuchale, Ethiopia. No board member or volunteer earns a penny from work done here.

Located in northwest Iowa, the Van De Stroets deliver eggs weekly to Canton, SD; Fairview, SD; Inwood, IA; and Sioux Falls, SD. Those living in Canton and Fairview (closest town to the Van De Stroet farm) can place a subscription for as few as one dozen eggs every other week. Inwood eggs are delivered to Inwood Hatchery, where they can be picked up by community members. Sioux Falls subscribers must subscribe to ten dozen or more every other week or weekly in order to get deliveries. In 2020 the board set the minimum requested donation per dozen at $3, which was the going rate at local grocery stores. Although the minimum suggested donation remains the same, we are appreciative if subscribers can donate at the going rate.
